Founder
I'm the founder of Stone & Spear, with over 30 years of passion for fitness, wellness, and nutrition. Despite eating a "healthy" Mediterranean diet and exercising regularly, I developed chronic health issues in my 30s.
Ten years ago, I reversed these issues by eliminating processed foods and transitioning to a clean paleo diet. I later went keto, and have followed a strict carnivore diet for the past six years. This transformation deepened my fascination with nutrition's impact on health, leading me to become a certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner. I've since helped hundreds of people improve their health and functioning.
I also eliminated commercial skincare products containing harmful synthetic chemicals. When I discovered tallow soap, I was amazed by how well it cleaned, nourished, and moisturized my skin without drying it out. I began making my own tallow soaps and founded Stone & Spear to share these products with others. Our line has grown to dozens of skincare, haircare, and makeup products—all made from 100% natural ingredients with zero artificial additives. I am a licensed Advanced Esthetician based in Las Vegas with over six years of experience in skincare, waxing, and client-focused treatments. My background in makeup artistry has provided me with a strong foundation in aesthetics, which I have since combined with a results-driven approach to overall skin health.
For the past three years, I have been an integral part of Stone & Spear, contributing to product formulation, operations, and client communication and education. I am deeply passionate about creating healthy, ingredient-conscious alternatives that support long-term skin integrity.
I continue to guide the brand’s vision by combining hands-on experience with a commitment to quality and simplicity; notably, I have personally tested each of our products on all skin types within my treatment room.
DR. STEVEN SVOBODA
Brand Ambassador
Dr. Steven Svoboda is a board-certified dermatologist practicing in Florida and a proud brand ambassador for Stone & Spear. He earned his undergraduate degree in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Florida, where he conducted both benchtop and clinical research in a leading nutrition lab. His work focused on the immunomodulatory effects of dietary compounds, laying the foundation for his deep understanding of how diet and lifestyle influence skin and overall health.
Dr. Steven went on to earn his medical degree from the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and returned to the University of Florida for his dermatology residency training. He has published multiple peer-reviewed articles in dermatology, including research on the intersection of nutrition and skin health.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Steven enjoys fishing, playing soccer, working out, and spending time outdoors with his wife, Dr. Audrey Svoboda, and their dog Mango. Together, they run a vibrant YouTube channel, Physicians Gone Fishing, where they share their adventures on the water and inspire others to embrace an active, wellness-focused lifestyle.
DR. ANTHONY CHAFFEE
Brand Ambassador
Dr Anthony Chaffee is a Brand Ambassador for Stone & Spear. Dr Anthony is an American medical doctor and Neurosurgical resident who, over a span of 20+ years, has researched the optimal nutrition for human performance and health. It is his assertion that most of the so-called chronic diseases that doctors treat are actually caused by the food we eat, or don't eat, and can be reversed with dietary changes to a species specific diet.
Dr. Anthony began University at the age of 16 studying Molecular & Cellular Biology with a Minor in Chemistry, which culminated in an MD from the Royal College of Surgeons.
Dr. Anthony is an All-American rugby player, former professional player in England and America, and has also trained in MMA fighting at AMC Kickboxing in Kirkland, Washington.
More recently, he volunteered as a doctor in the refugee camps in Bangladesh, helping the survivors of the 2017 genocide in Burma of the Rohingyan people.
